I was in SJ late one night and was craving some Pho. I saw the ratings on this place were high and there was a wait to get in. I figured this place must be good. Pho 21 did not disappoint. I ordered the combo Pho and some Goi Cuon. It was very good. The restaurant was clean and efficient. There were many workers and had a couple robots working by delivering food. It was neat to see.

Food was quite good with large portions. Service was quick. The robots were an interesting twist. The noise level was moderate. We tried to order via the QR code and failed (old age issue!) and had to ask for traditional menu.

This place blew up on Instagram and decided to visit few months later. This is actually my first time to go to a restaurant where they use self-serving robots, where they hold drinks and food for customers to get. The place looks nice and elegant. They pretty much have pho, rice plates, coffee, boba, etc. Also, it opens until 2AM, which is very unusual considering that most restaurants close around 9PM. Really great for those who want to dine at midnight. I decided to go light today and have chicken pho. It’s good that it contains only white chicken breast meat, which is very healthy. And of course the rice noodles are just sinking at the bottom of the bowl. Really good though! Probably should get appetizers the next time I come back. Overall, it’s a good experience and looking forward to returning to this place.

Great portions and fast service! We came here from Tiktok and social media, so finally got to try it. Food portions are big. Service is fast. Atmosphere is family friendly. Only complaint is that our table was next to the window where all the sun hit, so unfortunately we were blinded by the light/reflection most of our meal since there was no shade or curtain. They do have robots bringing out food & drinks, and also you get to order from a QR code.

Its food were decent and quite big portion. I found dry clear noodles in its memu that excited me. It was good. Its environment was clean, but a bit sticky on the table that we had. Hope it can be improved. The staff was friendly.

At Pho 21, you get your money’s worth. The flavors are typical of Vietnamese cuisine, but the portions are big. My wife and I came for a late lunch. I had the beef short rib, while my wife had the seafood pho. We also got the spring rolls for an appetizer. It’s a hefty portion of beef short rib you get. The meat slips off the bone, and is tender to the bite. The broth itself is that refreshing, herbaceous goodness you’d expect from pho. There’s a lot of noodles too, fresh and perfect texture. The seafood pho was equally delicious, lots of shrimp, squid, and scallops in it. They seem to get busy during peak hours. They have tablet where you can join a waitlist, but no staff was attending to it when we came. Nevertheless, we were seated immediately. They have call buttons for service, so you don’t have to be constantly turning your head to get someone’s attention. Service is prompt, and they also have a service robots that bring items to your table. Maybe next time we will be served by one of the robots. Parking is available but it might get crowded during peak hours. Overall, Pho 21 is a good option if you want a pho fix.

I ordered the short rib pho—while the meat was tender and fell off the bone, it was a bit chewy. The broth, however, was really flavorful! Prices are mid-range, and the machine that drops off drinks is a fun touch. We’ll try the place again.

I love this place, its so delicious and i like how they have robots to help serve with the food, and the food comes fairly quick and this place is just pretty. I LOVE the pho and their boba is so good! I recommend going here anytime you feel hungry.
